The "Core"... Who Would You Trade?

We need more plate discipline. That seems obvious. But the "problem" isn't our fringe players, our "moving parts." The problem is the foundation itself.

My question is: Can we concoct a sufficiently balanced, disciplined lineup -- one capable of winning deep into the playoffs -- while keeping the whole core?

And by "core" I basically mean Jones, Machado, Davis, Hardy, Wieters, Schoop...

If the answer is yes, how do we get there? If no, would you trade any of the core. If so, who and for whom?

Wieters will leave as a FA over the winter. Of the the rest listed, I wouldn't trade any of them.
