I know this wont sit well with the old Weaver crowd of OH, but I didnt follow the Orioles then, so I was never a huge Weaver fan.

I didn’t interpret their comments as meaning that they just learned of Britton’s injury at minicamp.    I interpreted them as saying that they were crushed when they heard the news (whenever that was).
