Call me crazy, but I can't shake this suspicion that the stars have aligned for the O's. I believe that the Orioles will sign one of Cobb or Lynn. My gut says Cobb.

Calling it now. Cobb or Lynn WILL BE AN ORIOLE by February 23.

Now watch this blow up in my face :D

I was a month late, but I called it.

Weams with Cobb the Orioles seem to have a legitimate rotation and a much better shot of competing. Other than having a real lead off hitter I'd say we are now much improved. Do you think we have a chance of competing?

I have no idea. Does Judge fall flat on his elderly sophomore face? Does JD break? Does Chris Davis ever get another hit again? Do we have anyone who can close a game?

That's why they play the games!

Giving up the pick sure is more palatable with four years to have successes.

Idunno... Wright would be the bottom of the pecking order for me.  I might even swap him out for Donnie Hart so the club has a third lefty option in the pen until Britton comes back.

Nothing personal.

We Can’t  give up on Wright so easily. That’s how we give away useful parts like Bridwell and Miranda. Label them 4A guys and lose them for nothing.

Let Wright learn how to get MLB hitters out in low leverage situations in the pen.

People preach development on here and then don’t have the stomach to see it out. Sounds good.

Just put $500 on the OVER for 72 wins.  I hope he passes the physical.  :)

Seems like free money. Just put a little on it and waiting for Angelos to not flunk the physical to put more.

14ish mill per for a legit No. 2 is a good deal.

Keep any Rule5 with promise over Wright.  I'd bet he passes through waivers.

Yes, I am a fan of Mike Wright but I would try to sneak him through the waiver process and keep Mesa in the bullpen. I think Cortes and Araujo are locks.

2019- Cobb, Bundy, Gausman, Cashner, Harvey.

Best rotation in 20 years?
