The Birds are definitely good sports.  They have a catcher producing a -18 OPS+ and a 1B producing 28 OPS+.  That’s really something.

That was last year ........ Bundy, Gausman, then pray for a 3-day hurricane.

 

This season, the Orioles have 4 legitimate starters.

Cobb had no Spring Training at all, and Cahsner had a limited Spring Training (both because of the lateness of their signings with the Orioles.)

Cobb will eventually come around, as did Cashner after his clunker in his first game this season. It may take Cobb a little longer than it did Cashner (perhaps his 4th or 5th start), because he literally was signed immediately prior to the start of the season.
