Yeah, Ward is a guy that would fit well in our OF, but it would take more than Mountcastle. Not sure they would have any interest in Mullins, being on his final year of team control. -

I don't get the cavalier attitude that the Royals and Tigers won't make the playoffs next year. People are acting like it's a given that we'll make the playoffs, too. -

The White Sox were historically bad. Teams are not historically bad two years in a row. They might lose 100-105, they won't lose 120. -

It plays into the fantasy of having a manager who came up through the system and managed all this exceptional young talent in the minors. It’s another circle jerk of filling out a lineup card 1-9 of homegrown prospects with a homegrown manager, as if that’s some sort of victory that matters.
