The finality of this trade is going to set in hard. His insertion into the field out of necessity in 2012 was really the catalyst for the true turnaround, and his impending trade is going to be the marker of a what could be a long rebuild. I've watched this team sine 1983, and no player left me saying "wow" as many times as Manny over the past six years. 

He's the closest thing I ever saw to a natural in an O's uniform. (Yes, there was Cal, but Cal's greatness was built on work and determination, not just pure, natural talent.)
