I'm mildly surprised they released Gentry. Doesn't make much money, leading the team in stolen bases, missed a lot of games because he was hbp that broke his rib. Plus fielder and one of the highest batting avg on the team. Maybe he's too old (34).

He’s 34 and we’re 60 games out of first. The fact that no other team wanted him or Valencia, really shows terrible we are. We actually thought we had a bench this year. Honestly it probably was one of the better ones we’ve had recently. Terrible. 

Davis, Joseph, and Jones, are the only remaining members of Buck’s boys. Of course we’re keeping the integrity of the game going by trotting Davis and Joseph out there. Like Buck said, a lot of contending teams are counting on us to put our best lineup out there. Apparently that includes Davis and Joseph.
