I think we just give it time.   Certainly he dominated on Saturday.    He needs to be consistent.

Did you?

Remember, improvement is transformative. It means that you discovered the solution to the fundamental problem and fixed it. And then the problem is rare instead of common. Randy Johnson did that, but Randy Johnson is rare. How many 97-MPH failures have there been?

Without that transformative discovery, you may have a good or a bad outing but the problem will remain. And that’s where we are now with Scott. Unless he deals with the fundamental problem he has, he won’t be a productive player. You’re fascinated by the “100 MPH” and I get it. I want him to fix it too. But he hasn’t. That doesn’t mean he can’t or won’t, but he hasn’t.
