There is a football game breaking out in the Norfolk at Louisville game...But an update about the players listed:

Santander: Right field - 3-6 with 1 strike out, 2 rbi's, 1 run and 2 doubles; .267 average and .682 OPS

Mountcaste: 3rd base - 1-6, 2 strike outs, 1 run, also stole a base, 1 error (fielding) .271 average and .775 OPS

Peterson: 1st base - 2-5, 1 walk, 3 rbi's, 3 runs, 1 home run and a double, .197 average and .678 OPS

Sisco: Catcher - 1-5, 1 walk, 1 run, allowed a stolen base, .190 average and .499 OPS

Stewart: Left Field - 1-4, 1 walk, 1 rbi, 2 runs,  .213 average and .717 OPS

Wynns: DH - 1-1, 4 walks, 1 rbi, 3 runs, .400 average and 1.025 OPS (super short split)

BONUS

Mullins: CF - 2-5, 1 walk, 1 rbi, 2 runs, 1 stolen base, .364 average and .897 OPS (short split)

Rogers: Starting Pitcher - 4.2 innings, 13 hits, 9 runs (all earned), 1 walk, 3 strike outs, 3 home runs, 87 pitches (63 for strikes), 7 ground outs, 3 fly outs

Whether this game is the "breakout" game for some of these players or not remains to be seen, but it is good to see everyone enjoying a game like this (unless you are pitching), as every batter has atleast 1 hit. The game is in the bottom of the 9th and Louisville is now down by 2 after hitting a 3 run home run off Lucas Long, so there is a chance for more in this game...

It's worth noting that Stevie Wilkerson was also a guy who was cut in ST. He proceeded to go down and hit .806 over 57 AB and came right up. Now, he came up mostly because he's a versatile guy on a short bench, but he would have been only the third ? on the list. And, as a low-upside guy with less developing to do, well here he is getting another look.

Another ? guy is up in Wynns. Just thought it was interesting. Wilkerson, Wynns... Mountcastle up next? Probably not.
