Even though this is technically a promotion for Bader, I still feel like this reads as the O's moving him out of a position he's no longer suited for/wasn't incredibly successful at (IMO). Interested to see the changes under Jennifer.

The club has shown no indication that they will find space or "promote" someone that is not specifically suited for the position they are retained or "promoted" to.

You misread what I wrote completely. I said he may be more suited for this new role than his old one, not that he is poorly suited for the new one.

His old position could use some younger blood and fresh vision. I think he'll do well in the new role. Just my opinion.
