To be honest, even if he doesn’t hit any more than he’s hitting, I still think he’s valuable. I’m tired of loading up our bench with the DJ Stewart types. I still fondly remember David Lough

Some act like a 4th OFer isn't an important thing.  It's very important on the O's.  If I'm an O's pitcher, I love having him playing LF or RF rather than someone like Stewart.

Neustrom, Stowers, Cowser and 1 of Hays, Haskin, Trimble or Rhodes.

At one time I would have said Diaz, but this guess seems reasonable. Also if the Orioles do add payroll when the team starts winning, one of the outfield spots could be a veteran acquired in a trade or free agency.

So I was just in a batting cage in Little Rock, Arkansas last week where every pitch was 90mph at eye level.  Would be great practice for him.

The good thing is - We get to see if he can make these adjustments - and I think it's best for his personal development to try it at the ML level.

McKenna is at best a 4th outfielder!   Hmmm.   Who else did we say that about the last 2 years?   Hmmmm.   He has some talent.  Who knows.   He was putting up a .940 OPS at Norfolk.   I would have liked to see him get a full season of AB's down there.    We need to stop making definitive statements on players based on 50 sporadic AB's.     McKenna needs to lay off of the high fastball but he looks like he has talent to me.
