He definitely has big boy power.  The previous shot to LC was impressive too.  The one to RF looked like a high fastball above the belt.  There were reports that he had trouble with high heat so good to see.

I'm no expert but Stowers really sells out for power in his swing, so much so that he's often off-balance at the end.

There is no doubt Stowers swings really, really hard on most pitches. Saying that, he's shown a pretty good eye overall so he's not just a hacker. He absolutely falls over some times due to the violence of his swing, but I guess the good news is he's making pretty good swing decisions overall, especially for a guy who hadn't played above Low-A ball before this year.

Tony, was Stowers at the alternate site last year?  Don't recall if he was invited or not.
