Twice as nice, it’s now July 27 and we’re out of the cellar again.  Hopefully for good this time!

I'm tempted to say that a team that loses a game 28-5 deserves to finish in last place, but the O's actually finished in 4th ahead of the Rays in 2007, the year of the infamous 30-3 loss to Texas.

The 1897 Louisville Colonels lost 36-7 to Chicago and they finished 23.5 games ahead of the Browns. Their manager in that game was Hall of Famer Fred Clarke.
