I don't disagree, but he hasn't looked particularly sharp as a reliever in Norfolk. Granted, maybe he needs a routine or a role and getting yo-yo'd from the majors to minors from starting to relieving isn't helping but it's just not been a great year for him.

As a Starter (AAA): 8 Starts, 32.2 IP, 3.31 ERA, 40/14 K/BB ratio, 4HRs, 1.22 WHIP

As a Reliever (AAA): 11 Games, 21.1 IP, 6.75 ERA, 28/11 K/BB Ratio, 2 HRs, 1.64 WHIP

Small sample size for sure, but he certainly hasn't take it to like a duck to water.

I would think it was more of him fixing his mechanics then if he was starter or reliever.  His ERA was almost 8 in Norfolk when they changed him to a starter pretty much and he has made 8 starts and 2 relief appearances in that time.  As you said his Era is 3.31 in those starts.  He also made two relief appearances throwing 5 innings giving up 2 runs 7 strikeouts and 2 walks and allowing 6 base runners in those 5 innings.  Those numbers are more similar then his starting numbers then his relief numbers earlier in the season.  They most likely made an adjust in his mechanics or something for the change imo.
