thanks! yeah I agree I went a little bullish saying he has #2 upside - certainly lofty! Having 2 above average breaking balls certainly helps set him apart, but getting that command in sync is huge for it to come true.

He's got options to attack LHP and RHP.  If he can get a bit more out of his changeup...  If only there was precedence on the staff teaching any one on the current roster a changeup...  Oh wait, Means and Grayson!  Not saying it's happening, just saying it's possible!

How he tries to use the sinker and four seam in tandem may be the most interesting early season development for him.  As btdart pointed it out, it is a bit surprising he only threw one sinker to lefties.

This was his essentially his pitch mix priority in September:

vs. RHP - Slider, sinker, curve, 4-seam

vs. LHP - 4-seam, slider, curve, changeup

Here's his swings and misses on fastballs and sinkers in September. You can definitely see the two different movements from the cut to the arm side run on the sinker.

that pitch he threw to Verdugo basically looked like a cutter, but I really liked those FBs he threw to Toronto in their red uniforms, as he kept them up in the zone - which will help his fastball if he can consistently locate it there.
