Everyone exhale!  Santander has to win the gold today, Eflin takes the silver, and of all people, Gregory Soto gets the bronze for keeping the game tied in the 9th.

I missed this one so will go with yours.  This is Santander's 6th gameball which puts him in the lead.

Wasn't able to watch but it seems clear that Burnes should get the game ball tonight.  McCann, Cowser and Santa would all be worthy medalists.

yes. The red hot Tigers ran into a buzz saw. Burnes for the gold, and the bats were finally ripping again

[Three Run Homer]

I'm giving the gold to Kremer.  He only went 5 innings (not sure why, he was only at 83 pitches), but I thought he pitched a hell of a game considering how many bad ball/strike calls went against him.  Silver goes to the much-maligned Ryan O'Hearn, who was the key contributor to the first two runs, and the bronze to Santander.

Really tough one today with three solo HR driving the offense. Great to see O'Hearn get a couple of big hits. I agree, Kremer got us the lead and also made a terrific defensive play which gets him the gameball.

9/25/2024 9-7 @ NYY. Bullpen makes it closer than it should have been but O's get the series win. Six players with multiple hits, Gunnar gets the gameball for excellent defensive play along with three hits. Santander, Gunnar, and Kremer are tied for the team lead with six gameballs each.
