I am watching Mizzou/Memphis and seeing Missouri run the same play time after time after time. Calipari can't make an adjustment to save his life. I just hope I bet enough...

Mizzou just hit a 70 footer to close out the half! nice.

Wow, Mizzou up 19...Glad I took Mizzou and the 4.5 points. :D

Biggest bet I've made this season...Calipari in a big game? Money in the bank!

Rarely do you see a game and think, "Wow, they're giving away money at the Sportsbook". This was one of those games.

Nova is playing the best defense I can remember a team playing.

This is just amazing.

Duke can't do anything...K is trying everything and nothing is working.

At this point, no chance Duke can win this game...Still lots of time and they can turn it around but as of right now, no chance.

Nova is about two steps faster than Duke right now

Yep...Duke doesn't belong on the same floor as Nova tonight.

They came out shooting poorly, lost some confidence and then Nova's defense just really locked them down.

Obviously plenty of time left but it just isn't likely that Duke will be able to win this game.

The one thing that Nova really had the advantage in is dribble penetration...That is the one aspect Duke struggles in defensively...They should be able to do enough of that for the rest of the half to keep it the lead just out of arm's length.

Duke has got to go nuts from 3 for this comeback to happen.

Some of this is defense, but most of this is just an awful game by Duke. They are shooting terribly. They aren't rotating the ball worth a darn. Henderson has been awful and has picked up three stupid fouls.

Nova just mugs people on D. There is no such thing as a cut off the ball because they just grab and elbow everyone.

Honestly, I can't believe Duke is playing this poorly though. They look awful IMO.

The Pitt/Xavier game was really ugly too. I'm not particularly enjoying the action tonight. Most of the play is choppy and ugly.

I am not sure what was worse...Duke's offensive performance vs Clemson or tonight...I think I will go with tonight but its close.

Defensively, they are playing fine but they have missed 4 FTs, including the front end of a 1 and 1 as well.

They need a little spurt right now..Have the lead under 10 with 8 to go and they will have a chance, albeit a small one I think.

Henderson is forcing things right now...He has been visibly frustrated several times tonight and it is really hurting him.

Singler misses the front end of a 1 and 1 for the second time...Potential of 4 points taken off the board.

You can't have Henderson and Scheyer go 2-21 and expect to be within 10 of a good team.

As athletic as Henderson is and as well as Scheyer shoots, I would have never imagined it possible for them to shoot 2-21. What a nightmare game for Duke. It just looks like one of those nights where nothing goes right and it snowballs. Just terrible timing. I honestly feel bad for them.

Nova plays good defense, but they aren't much fun to watch IMO. They're just a veteran team who plays well together. All 3 frontcourt players are seniors.

YEa, that's what it boils down to.

Nova hasn't done anything offensively to overwhelm Duke...Its been Duke's offense that has been so poor.

They just haven't done anything tonight and that shouldn't be the case...These teams are the same.

The missed FTs are driving me crazy...they are leaving way too many points at the line.

    • Did we ? You can’t possibly know that. Apparently, Elias got a player he thought he could fix.  Sorry but I just don’t think Rogers is as good as Irvin with his diminished stuff. I think he’s essentially a throw away. It would be wise to extend Eflin now while we still can. That way the resources used to get him can actually provide some long term value. Dominguez was an ok pickup…I don’t hate the deal. Problem is we needed a closer and he’s isn’t that. Thankfully Bautista is returning and will push him down the depth chart a slot or two. Soto ….Agreed, you bring him back if you can’t find a better option. I expect them to keep him. Otherwise, giving up Seth Johnson with our minors pitching quality shortage looks like a bad decision  Eloy didn’t cost much …. My general thought is pick ups like him didn’t matter beyond how you grade those acquisitions on a team that “Really Wanted to Win”. I question this because none of the guys that we picked up where having good seasons elsewhere. My thoughts are the same for Rivera …. He was a 563 OPS in Miami but got hot here and was a .948 here. His career OPS is .676 so his stint here is probably not repeatable. His projected arb number is 1.4 million so they likely keep him around as a piece and he’s young enough that maybe the change in scenery caused the light to come on.   By the way … here’s a piece from Roch about sone of these guys.   https://www.masnsports.com/blog/taking-another-look-at-orioles-roster-decisions
    • This has to count as one of the, if not the, biggest choke in ALCS history. Up 5-3 with two outs and no one on in the ninth, after you came back from 1-3 in the eight, with a chance to put a lock on the series.
    • Reverse jinx works again! 😆 🥳
    • Clay Holmes' agent could have used the season ending a good couple months ago. It was nice seeing a chink in Luke Weaver's armor.    Gunnar Henderson v. Anthony Volpe is kind of a centerpiece of Mike Elias mostly out-General Managing Brian Cashman the last half decade, but Luke Weaver v. Craig Kimbrel is not a good chapter and flipping those two guys might have changed the 2024 division.
    • I have all sorts of credit cards that charge interest because they provide me with tens of thousands of dollars in free interest. That said, I never pay interest, because I always pay off the balance each month.
    • My friend and I each had flex plans. Him $2500 and me $1300. Neither of us renewed. Are schedules are too difficult to commit to a set plan and the lack of perks for the lower-tier set plans and flex plans make it not worth letting the Os earn the float on our money.
