I think wall height is about 340th on the list of things FA pitchers worry about.

Home runs given up with great frequency in the past. Pitchers did not like being in a band box. FA avoided coming here.

I think pitchers worry a lot more about money and overall team quality.

What FO in the last decade can't adjust for park effects when evaluating players?

I'm sure they grouse about short walls but Boston never had trouble getting free agents to take their money.
