Player of the week last week for having a good start.  His previous start blew chow.  Let him marinate.

I'd like to see some more sustained success, but wouldn't be surprised to see him in the bullpen at the end of the year. I don't see him having any success in the majors as a starter. If we are going to have guys that lack control in the pen, at least McDermott can strike guys out and has some upside.

I thought I was being polite in describing 0.1 innings, 2 hits, 3 BB, 4 ER, 33 pitches, 16 strikes.  I could have said a lot worse!
