I remember sitting at Game 5 of the 1983 World Series like it was yesterday. Unfortunately, that is a long time and too many losses ago.

I just tuned in near the end of the last inning. Did anybody else notice that Jones camped under a fly ball and caught it with both hands. I haven't seen him do that all year. The reason I noticed it is because it's a peeve of mine that he has a tendancy to act too casual with his one handed catches.

Did he have any other balls hit to him and has his style changed? Just wondering if this is a Samuel influence.

As bad as it might be, that may be what it just might take to open a few eyes in the organization. Because losing (roughly) 85-95 a season for twelve consecutive seasons has done nothing to open the eyes of those who make the key decisions in the organization.
