I got really bored this afternoon and decided to do a quick comparison of career earnings after seeing this function on the Baseball Cube site. Sorry for the poor configuration. These are earnings as of the end of 2007. The cut off was $50,000,000 or more. There are probably another 100 players around $47K-$49.5K.

And I thought it was bad that the Orioles gave Segui $28mm/4years; Darren Dreifort $60+mm, ouch!

Wow! Refreshing! Imagine how many of the world's ills they could have helped eradicate? I'm sure that many did. (no rolled eyes icon)

It amazes me that players as mediocre as some on this list have made as much as they have. Woody Williams has a career .532 win percentage and has made 50 million dollars... good thing he wasnt a doctor.
