If Santander if filling the 1B roll most evenings, then a Rotation of Mullins, Cowser, Hays, Kjerstad in the OF could work with someone getting a night off once a week and someone DHing.

He is quite fast. I think his skillset would be greatly underused at 1b. I'm thinking Kjerstad RF and Santander to 1b.

I thought that was going to be a hit or a tough play off the bat and he got to if fairly easily. Still waiting for the other shoe to drop, but so far he's been a pleasant surprise.

I think we are. The expansion of the game creates a deeper player pool which creates more competition inside the player pool. That plus the advanced tech and swing training from an earlier age have the next couple decades of baseball looking pretty exciting (from an on field athletic performance standpoint). Have you seen the story about the catcher from Uganda?

Young followed up his 4/4 with a 5/5. If he logs a 6/6 today he might get that OPS over .700 I had just about written him off, great to see signs of life.

There are definitely a lot of military in the area and at games. You see a ton of Os gear there now. Don’t see too much Mets stuff….besides the David Wright local love. Tides have been a fixture in that area since the 60s. I’ve been going to about a dozen games there the last few years and there is always a nice crowd that seems to know the players well.

The Tidewater Tides won the International league in 82,83,&85.
