Do we miss Castillo’s turn in the rotation now?

He certainly doesn’t seem to fit the “Elias Mold”. Not sure how other teams value him, but he would be a player I’d look to move in the off-season.

It looked to me like he was effectively wild and was getting a bit lucky last night. The FB did look to have more movement than normal, but he missed a lot of spots and threw a lot of non-competitive pitches. If he puts up that same effort against a team like NY or HOU I think he gets shelled. Regardless, nice to see him have success and hopefully he can build on it.

Gunnar and Hall would be a huge boost. Can only dream of Grayson coming up last couple weeks of September & making an impact. Seems to me they don’t need to make a trade to improve the team. Keep the band together, bring up the kids, let the team gel and see where the cards fall. Give Mancini a QO/one year contract and trade Mountcastle & Santander in the off-season.

Didn’t realize he broke the national hit record this year with 89, Topping JT Realmuto. Swing looks nice. I imagine he is gonna add every bit of 30lbs over the next 3-4 years. The more I read about him the more I like. Excited to see what he can do.
