Are people calling for that because of 6 games, or does it date back to last year? One of the people were talking about tossing aside is Kemp, who was signed two weeks ago. Also, people have been suggesting that Urias and/or Mateo be traded, not tossed aside.

Is there a different Hays? Because Austin has been terrible so far.

OHearn doesn’t need to go, but he needs to be used appropriately. Why are we so concerned about getting his bat in the lineup? He’s fine as a PH bat for now, but we don’t need to put him in RF to find ABs for him.

I mean that’s not on OHearn. That’s on Hyde and Elias. You can’t put him out there. Just like you couldn’t put Mullins at SS. Put players in positions to succeed. We have enough good ones to be able to do it effectively. OHearn should never be in the OF.

That’s the biggest thing. And it’s not just Hays, they do the same thing with Mountcastle and Mullins. The unwillingness to find ABs for young players is baffling.
