The definition of a reactionary thread. :P

Tillman's a #5 at best right now. He has lots of refining left to do. I was all for leaving him in AAA to start this season - I don't buy the "nothing to prove there" line. But he's got a shot to be a decent #5 this season, which means like a 5.00 ERA, which means a couple three run first innings against a potent Yankee offense. Anyone expecting greatness or even league average-ness from Tillman this season had a couple pairs of rose-colored glasses on, IMO.

The Rays sure weren't saying that on April 2nd...

Ah, at least he'll always have April 2nd. Let's ignore the fact that the Rays are horrible...

Squeezed or whatever, that pitch to Arod was one of the worst pitches you will ever see. It actually tracked into the bat almost as if it were magnetized.

I never blame blue, but he was really squeezed, hard not to get frustrated with that many close pitches and no calls. Tillman isn't great and needs all the cloase calls he can get. Plus he's facing an 0-for team and they might be do.

And 130 innings into his career.

He's 23 years old...

Wasn't he the guy just a few years ago who we expected to see at the front end of the rotation for years to come? I think it's still to early in his career to make assumptions.
