Marquette close to being eliminated, down 2 against Davidson. Not looking good for them...or my bracket.

Also...Gonzaga barely winning at halftime, giving a lot of credence to those of us that didn't believe they deserved a number 1 seed.

Unbelievable. Marquette survives by trading 3's for 2's down the stretch before one big turnover costs Davidson the game. Wow.

Oregon is playing more like a team with a record in a major conference (26-8, Pac-12) would indicate than like a team that is a 12 seed, as they lead 5th-seeded Oklahoma State by 11 points at halftime.

The University of California essentially has a home game against U.N.L.V. (2 home games if they win) by playing in northern California in San Jose (55 minutes from Berkeley.)

If Southern had won, and become the first # 16 seed EVER to beat a # 1 seed (1985-present), that would have been March INSANITY. :eektf:

I remember in 1989 when Pete Carril's Princeton team (#16 seed) lost by one point to Georgetown. In that game, the officiating went mostly against Princeton, including the final play of the game, when Mourning wasn't called for a foul on Mueller as time expired.
