21 years ago, Mike Krzyzewski's Duke team beat Rick Pitino's Kentucky team in the Elite Eight on Chistian Laettner's buzzer beater after receiving a length-of-the-court pass from Grant Hill.

Now, the two coaches meet again in the Elite Eight ....... this time, Pitino is coaching another Kentucky team.

I think the Duke-Louisville game matches the best two teams left in the tournament. The winner of that game should be favored to go all the way.

I'm going to Syracuse-Marquette tomorrow and we'll see if that changes my mind.

The Syracuse-Marquette game was absolutely painful to watch. Yes, Syracuse has a great zone defense, but Marquette just looked clueless. I've rarely seen a worse basketball game in person -- maybe never.

Michigan is in the Elite Eight for the first time since 1994, when they still had 80 % of The Fab Five (Jalen Rose, Juwan Howard, Ray Jackson, and Jimmy King) playing for them.

Go back one more year, and add one more player, now.

Michigan is in the Final Four for the first time since 1993, when the entire Fab Five was there.
