Closing =/= done. I'll believe that a deal's in place when someone other than Rickii reports it.

And then I'll b---- about it if the AAV is anywhere close to accurate.

Spending 75% of JJ's $10 million on a 36 year old "closer" would be infuriating, regardless of a third year.

If you believe the age difference is a complete non factor, which is doubtful.

IF the deal happens at that dollar value, the Orioles spent money on a FA closer. That is intrinsically wasteful, IMO. It has nothing to do with the other players the Orioles do/don't get this winter.
