Yes, and I'm going to the game tomorrow... maybe I'll see #500. That would be something to add to my top 10 list of historic sports moments witnessed in person:

1) Cal's 2131 game

2) Last game at Memorial Stadium

3) First game at Camden Yards

4) Jamal Lewis sets the NFL single game rushing yardage record

5) The night Cal sat out to end the streak

6) Dr J's last regular season home game (he played in the playoffs that year though)

7) Barry Sanders' last game

8) 2000 National Championship football game

9) Ravens' first game in Baltimore

10) ???

No soup for you. He also hit #500 tonight

California leads Washington 4-2 at the end of 3 innings.

You know, for all you Angels fans here on the OH.

Didn't Pujols hit his 499th homer against the opponents tonight?
Yes.

Make that 500, Mike.

He hit another one.

Angles fans here on the OH must be very happy.

No offense intended at all, but I've been drinking...so no. Heck no, even. Remind me to look through rosters when I'm clear headed. Regardless, saying Flaherty "has some pop" is kind of silly, IMO. He has hit HRs, but, even taking those into account, his SLG% last year was .390. He's a .200-.225 hitter who oscillates between occasional HRs and singles. Whatever value his glove has is practically eviscerated by his awful, awful bat.

Here's a good way to answer your original questions; if we were to DFA Flaherty tomorrow, how many teams would put a claim in?
