Averaging 30 HR/162 over a long career is no small feat. McGriff averaged 32 and Gehrig 37.

As far as HOF candidacy goes, I have to go McGriff > Mattingly >> Konerko. Having the Crime Dog in the Hall wouldn't really cheapen it -- he's better than at least 25% of the group, for whatever that's worth. Konkerko being in the Hall kind'a would cheapen it further.

I was torn on leaving Chen in because he still looked good and had a low PC, so I'm not questioning Buck. But it sure is an uneasy feeling. That K by DOD certainly helps.
