First the Blue Jays hamstring the Orioles for a month in the off season, and now they embarrass the team in a three game set, sending them to last place in the AL East. Horrible starting pitching, errors, and a spat with the face of the franchise. The team's ERA is now 5.15.

Baltimore next plays Toronto at home May 11-13. I think that's going to be a very important series and I sure hope it goes better than this one.

For me, I can't even understand how people can dislike the Yankees or the Red Sox more than Blue Jays. At least just for this season. I mean those two organizations at least run their teams in somewhat respectable ways. To be beaten by this particular Blue Jays team in this particular year in that particular way is just....

It burns me up, man.

That would be because, while NY and Boston have won numerous World Series in recent history, Toronto hasn't finished higher than 3rd in the division in 22 years. Would you really rather see Boston or NY celebrate winning it all again this year?

The one thing the Orioles do under Buck and Dan is get better as the season progresses. It's not about what you can do in April, it's about what you can do at the end of the summer. That may not be the case for Toronto. Rookies and young players typically wear down and get adjusted to.
