Nick's contract would have been bad for us no mater what happens this year, I am no longer so sure about Nelson's. So what if years three and four are sunk. In future dollars how much more is it going to be compared to what we are spending on the motley group we have out there now.....and next year?

True, but in the years that teams win, those guys come through relentlessly in completely unpredicted ways. In off years, they also throw wrenches in the gears of any offensive activity.
