vs. TWINS, 8/21

Is it me, or is there no killer instinct with this team as they move down the stretch?

This game proves to me, that while in high school, I could have stepped on a major league mound and won a game. I had the same makeup a Milone does RIGHT NOW.

I felt a lack of it during the 2013 stretch run, maybe.

I've been following this team since 1996, and in that entire period, it seems that lefty junkball starters have given this team fits. I don't understand how a team can perpetually struggle against the same type of pitcher. Aren't major league hitters supposed to be able to recognize and hit a changeup?

This is the problem being such a bad road team, little margin for error.

And considering they can't beat good teams, they have to win this series against Minnesota. Minnesota was 9-21 in their last 30 games coming into last night. They curb stomped the Orioles last night and are ahead 1-0 in the 6th right now and this team has looked lifeless for all 15 innings of the series so far. Simply not acceptable.
