I think they already are.

Trout to me, IMO, isn't as good as he was the first two years. Harper has surpassed him and it's not close. A local radio show here compared their last 200 games, Harper has been better by a decent amount.

Machado is in the conversation, for sure.

I loved Mike Trout in his rookie year. Such a great all around player. It seems that he's sacrificed speed and defense to bulk up and add power.
