Wright was very good today. My confidence in him went up a few ticks. Leave it to Buck to ruin a good start, though. Bundy should have been ready to come in before the seventh even started and should have come in

when Wright allowed the first baserunner IMO.

It stinks, but you got to push these guys at some point. The pen is on fumes already.

And Alcides Escobar. Wow, a lot of free agents at once for KC next year. They'll be rebuilding in 2018.

I imagine we wanted to give the pen a little bit of a break given how they have had to pitch at least 3 innings a game for the last several games. Buck was tempting fate though and we got bit. Wright wasn't as sharp in the 6th as he had been.
