The O's are 20-5 (.800) when scoring 6 runs or more. The rest of the AL is 263-43 (.859). We've scored 6+ about three more times than the average AL team, but unfortunately we've only won one more than average.

The O's are 4-20 (.167) when allowing 6 runs or more. The rest of the AL is 45-260 (.148). We've allowed 6+ runs about two more times than the average AL team, but we've also won one more of those games than an average AL team.

I can't imagine what got me thinking about this, given tonight's pitching matchup.
