Another thing, Bautista, unlike Big Papi is aging. He's hitting .228 with 18 HR and a 110 OPS+ this season. He might even retire if no one wants to give him the contract "that he deserves".

Markakis has a better WAR then Trumbo. Because he shouldn't be in right field.

I respect and deeply appreciate Buck's managerial contributions. That does not mean that he is not capable of mistakes and sometimes repeated mistakes due to his own prejudices and theories that would be different from what other managers likely would do in that situation. And for that he deserves to be criticized. Not whining to hold him accountable when he makes poor decisions that affect critical outcomes.

You're right, he can certainly be criticized. I just read more than a few comments about having him sacked over this and I thought I would just put in my own little comment of support. That's all.
