An interesting article on hittling streaks

Just stumbled across this today. My apologies if it has been posted before. But it has an interesting theory on hitting streaks and temperature. I don't completely agree with it because I think hitting streaks are more to do with a culmination of timing and biorhythm (in other terms vitality or chi).

Notice the peak of hitting streaks being May-June and right after the AS break.

The article is 7 years old but it did have a 10 year sample size.

If you model baseball without any vitality, or chi or magic or clutch or emotion or anything like that, and run simulations of thousands of seasons just on numbers you'll get frequencies and durations of hitting streaks that almost exactly match reality.
