The only way the Orioles don't make the playoffs is if they lose their last two games AND both the Jays and Tigers run the table.

Not exaaaactly true, since the Orioles could go 1-1 and then there might a three-way tie for the WC. Tiebreakers aren't technically part of the playoffs, they are Game 163 and the statistics count. It would have been something if Tillman was sitting on 19 wins and won the 20th in a tiebreaker game.
