He may be the best defensive CFer in the game right now. Elite speed and arm strength. Right handed bat. Good statcast numbers but also has some swing and miss in his game. Offense is ok. Not overwhelming but not bad. -

Yup. And health. Heck, after all the injuries we had, why wouldn’t Hyde be worried about any pitcher being healthy? Also, the person asking the question could’ve been thinking that we might actually want to make acquisitions “better” than what Suarez was. Some perceive big Al as not that good or lucky. Or that somehow someone we have or bring in would beat him out. Heck, 80% of fans constantly think there is a better Kremer replacement readily available at all times. -

I got a low bar for what ownership will spend until I see otherwise. Those free t shirts that Ruby threw didn’t make me all Googly eyed for him. The minimum a team in our situation should do is Burnes + Santa or another vet like JD Martinez. Obviously, I’m open to what more than that is. -
