I'm glad Schoop is getting a blow, even though he is playing well.    This avoids any temptation to keep playing a guy just to keep a streak going or say he played all 162.     

Not in favor of playing Mancini over Kim here.

Very interesting story about tonight's opposing pitcher, and the disease that he has had to deal with since he was a senior in high school.

When he was 18 years-old, he turned down a $1.6 Million signing bonus as a 1st-round draft pick of the Milwaukee Brewers so that he could allow his body to adjust to the disease (Type 1 Diabetes) by pitching in college (near his home), instead.

Mancini probably has better career numbers against Covey than Kim.

They're not getting rid of Kim. Have to take another look at Mancini before they make a decision, maybe as soon as Sun.
