For me Kevin is the current reminder of the Oriole's futility in developing quality starters for the last 20 years outside of Tillman, briefly Bedard, and now possibly Bundy.

Do you think Ubaldo pitching the 6th is so much worse than going to Stefan Crichton, that it constitutes "giving up"?   Detroit might score off Ubaldo in the 6th; they might also score off Crighton.

Not "giving up" to leave Ubaldo in. But IMO a fresh arm gives us a much better chances of holding DET down.
