Gentry would probably have to be DFA'd.

I hope not. He is not the future. I would rather DH Smith here and there. Opens up another spot for Santander.

Santander has played 4 games this year.  I think they want to see him play some games at AA for 20 days.

I guess Pedro would replace Trumbo going on the DL on the 25 man roster but they need someone to come off the 40 man roster.

After just seeing Gentry swing at the first pitch and pop it up, after Tejada had just drawn a walk to load the bases, with 2 outs.  I would say, yes, DFA Gentry.  Manny trying to take third with 2 outs, in the 1st, on a wild pitch, was pretty stupid, as well, but ............

Ultimately I want Santander up here.  I'd be fine with Alvarez over Gentry as well, though.

Pedro could come up if they send down a pitcher, but you can't have Pedro on a team with a 3-man bench. Those 3 guys all have to be able to play a position.

I would DH Castillo vs LHP. And when we face RHP rotate some guys in and out like Smith and Mancini at DH. They didn't like to play Alvarez vs LHP anyway. 

They could carry an extra inf until Santander is ready.
