THIS right here, is what those of us who lived through the dark years dreamed of..and here it is once again.  For the 6th straight year.  Meaningful gut wrenching hanging on every pitch games as football season starts.  These guys are doing everything they have to do to be in a position to take a shot.

Pies all around fellas...and aint the beer cold tonight!!!!

Thank the second wild card. Though the first WC seems to be up for grabs at this point.

The Orioles have a sputtering Toronto for four games at home... They must win at least 3, try for 4.

the cynic in me thinks that this recent win streak is setting me up for a big crash when the bottom falls out in September and the O's don't make the playoffs

Honestly this is on Buck and Duquette.  That Ubaldo is good for stretches that no one can predict still does not justify running him out there.   In 2014 the last time the rotation was good he was benched and rotation was immediately better.   He is a momentum killing demoralizing presence.   If you don't care about winning or your team or your fans then you pitch him.    Smart teams see him as sunk cost,  devalued asset and cut their losses.  It isn't like we don't have enough information at this stage. 

Now isn't that something? O's won 6 in a row and now because they are behind  and Ubaldo pitched badly  it's DD's fault and Buck. The O's could come back and win. If not then that's okay. No team wins every game.

Buck has to be manager of the year in the AL. To have this team in the playoff hunt is hard to believe. I think at one time we thought our team was done. Now they look like a team to be reckoned with. Great job Buck.
