You (Sports world) throw enough rumors out there, that at some point, they are bound to get lucky and predict a trade.

This is correct.  In my opinion, we should take them for what they are - rumors.  Have fun with them, debate and discuss them.  Nothing is official until it happens.

Heard this morning that a Gausman/Givens deal would be headlined by Hayes and Os prefer to add LH Hearn in the deal. Unclear if they will get what they want. They had a scout at Kannapolis NC getting a feel for their SS prospect Oniel Cruz as well. We shall see what transpires.

Hayes and Cruz is a good start.  

Particularly, Hayes, I love prospects with a strong defensive reputation.  If any skill translates instantly from the minors to the majors it's that (and speed).

That would be a HUGE get in my eyes. He'd be at the same level as Mountcastle, Diaz and Hays so we'd get all the big offensive pieces at around the same time (assuming most pan out) and Hayes at 3B could push Mountcastle to get some time at 1B where he's probably better suited.

Hayes and Cruz would seem to be quite high even for Gausman and Givens...but adding either Newman or Kramer instead would instantly help the infield picture in a couple years.

I'd take a: Hayes, Hearn, and Newman package...but doubt the Pirates go that far.

Give me Hayes, Cruz, and Hearn, then 2 lottery tickets. 

At 19 years old putting up the numbers he has this season, have to expect Cruz to be near Top 100 lists by the end of the season.

Thanks, Hearns numbers in AA look real strong. More k’s than innings, walks low and .198 opposing BA.
