Orioles option Wynns to Norfolk

The Orioles announce catcher Austin Wynns, who was rehabbing with Double-A Bowie, has been optioned to Triple-A Norfolk.

So either they will roll with 3 catchers there or they will trade a guy.

He actually hasn’t been optioned.   His rehab assignment was moved to Norfolk.

Actually, I’m confused now.   Thought I read somewhere that it had been “clarified” that he was still on rehab.    Maybe not.

I think seems confusing to all.Maybe the Orioles  were not clear in their wording. We shall see.

It will be interesting to see what they do as far as playing time in Norfolk for everyone.

I don’t know anything about Perez. Is Severino better? I’m guessing not because Perez is down there and Severino is up here.
