The Silver Lining Report: Game 27/162 (O's lose 6-1)

Gonna be a short one!

• Trey Mancini: A 3-hit ballgame which included a double, and he continues to lead the AL in hits. Stud.
• Dwight Smith Jr.: Prevented the shutout with an RBI single and added a walk for good measure.
• Gabriel Ynoa: Did what Mike Wright so often could not. Ate 3.1 innings while only giving up 1 run. Really saved the bullpen and for that, I bestow a unicorn.
• Miguel Castro: Came in and struck out his only two batters. Hopefully that's a sign he's getting back on track after the armslot fix. 
• Mini  s: Villar's 2-hit night, Rickard's diving catch.

Alright, we get it Twins, you hit dingers.

I remember Palmer said during the broadcast when Castro was getting rocked by the Yankees (not sure) after he gave up a long home run down the left field line to Fraizer... he said he might be tipping his pitches or something. He was throwing hard 94/95 but everything was getting hit hard, they were jumping all over his pitches.

Yes. They spotted it when comparing video of him last season. Not sure if he visibly looked any different last night but the two Ks are definitely encouraging.
