The triple play was almost a carbon copy of the Twins' last triple play, which occurred 11 years earlier against the Angels in 2008.

Seems like that will be tough to prove.  He had five appearances between the Colorado series and the trade and he put up zeros in each.

Sucks for Minnesota, but don’t see how they can and should be remedied.

In 2018, the respective starting pitchers for each team (Jose Berrios and James Paxton) led the American League in Complete Games (2) and CG-Shutouts (1) ........ this season, neither completed a game. 

Paxton was pitching for the Mariners at that time (2018), while Berrios has remained with the men from eastern Minnesota.

The Orioles would have put up a better fight than the Twin have in the ALDS against the Yankees.

The Orioles put up no fight against the Yankees this year.  But that being said, the updated stats are no even more impressive:

Over the last 18 years, in 140 games against NY (regular season and playoffs), the Twins are now 37-103.....a .264 winning percentage, which would equate to 43-119 over a full season.  The most amazing part of this....the Twins are actually an over .500 team over those same 18 years (even when you include the wins/losses against NY).
