I sort of understand the reasoning behind the flagrant on Cowan, but I'm not sure if the defender should be allowed to put his arm across the defender's chest to impede his movement.  That felt like it was baited by Rutgers, and I think we should get some clarification on that rule.

56-51 good guys!  Ugly game, but Rutgers played good defense.

Give Turgeon some credit here, he changed the tempo up in the second half and the Terps were able to use their athleticism and speed to break the Rutgers defense.

Stix had a great game and Cowan heated up in the second half. 

Glad they survived!

I mean, if Stix plays the way he did today and wags his finger Mutumbo style at anyone that sniffs the paint, sure.  But we're not going to face a lot of teams that can't hit a jump shot.  And we need to figure out how to hit a jump shot ourselves.

My favorite stat, we were really good from the free throw line tonight. I don't know the exact number but we might have missed two total.

I mean, I wouldn't be surprised....I also wouldn't be surprised if we are out by second round or sweet 16 either.  Just, this season of basketball all around has been a weird one.
