No. A catcher moving his hand in a certain manner to deceive the umpire into thinking a pitch was a strike and not a ball is fundamentally the same as deceiving an umpire into thinking a pitch struck you.

To me, the only difference is that the opportunity for framing comes up much more frequently.

I'm surprised they took Britton out. He only threw nine pitches the previous inning and hasn't appeared in a game in three days. Why not send him out for a second inning of work and save Chapman?

Pretty much a wrap for 2020  dreams of playoff spot....lots of things to like about our performance at times but the MFYs have way much more talent in general...out of 20 games, they will win 15.
